IMPORTANT REASONS FOR REGULAR TRIMMING OF YOUR DOG’S Nail

Once the nail is left unattended for months & let grown, it is impossible to cut it short at one go. Since the quick ( a soft cuticle in the centre of the nail) also lengthens within the nail.
The quick contains blood vessels and nerves, so it is of paramount importance not to cut through this area of the nail, or it will bleed and cause pain.
  1. Nails that are too long can chip and break, creating a painful condition that needs veterinary attention.
  2. Your dog can easily tear his toenails when playing outside, which can lead to bleeding and extreme pain
  3. Additionally, nails left too long can make standing and moving painful and awkward for your dog.
  4. In extreme situations, the nails can continue to grow until they curl around and become embedded in the paws of your dog’s feet. This condition will require vets intervention wherein the pets have to be sedated to operate out the nail .
  5. In such cases, the pets become aggressive due to extreme pain and often try to bite the person and even the dog groomer who would try to fix it
Dog Grooming is a young stage also takes care of the nails and does not let them grow big
