  Convention on Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS) is an environmental treaty of the UN Environment that addresses the global issue. World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) which falls on May 9 each year, is an international campaign aimed at raising awareness about  migratory birds of India  as well as the necessity of international cooperation to protect the species.
